Elected Federal legislators can only own US Treasuries

No elected Federal legislator may own any intangible asset (i.e. stocks, crypto, debt) besides US Treasuries.

Points

US Treasuries are the "company stock" whose value is directly tied to American success. Therefore, any ability to personally, economically benefit from decisions that will not benefit America more broadly should be eliminated. If someone does NOT want to sacrifice their ability to economically gain at a rate greater than all other Americans, they should not be allowed to serve.
